Tonight on the AMSTREAM we have THREE new Amstrad games!…

“Harrier Attack! Reloaded”
“Roland Retires”
“Crystal Place”

First up is a remastered and turbocharged update for the GX4000 console and Amstrad Plus computers, of the early Amsoft classic… “Harrier Attack!” now called the “Reloaded” version! 40 years later after it’s original release Chris Perver has decided to decompile and reprogram it to take advantage of the features of the Plus/GX range and we now have hardware scrolling and sprites with extended colour palette! And turbo speed later levels!! Second up tonight, keeping the Amsoft theme going, our beloved Amstrad mascot returns in “Roland Retires”! Yes he’s back and in tribute to Roland Perry too! In similar style to Roland In Time (but obviously much better!) guide our intrepid hero around platforming mayhem to recover his Tardis and fix the CPC’s! Looks and sounds gorgeous too! Lastly our third game tonight is a nice looking and initially simple looking puzzle game called “Crystal Place” – but looks are deceiving! This is really hard! Where you have to shift rows of jewels around to make specific patterns against a very strict time limit! A conversion of a rare coin-op prototype called “Orbs” apparently!
