Back in the day the release of the Nexus 7 marked the start of Android tablets becoming widely available. I was an early adopter. This previously thought lost video was originally uploaded on 27-12-2012.

Information on the NEXUS 7:
The original Nexus 7 tablet, co-developed by Google and Asus, was released on July 13, 2012. Here are some key features:
Operating System: Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (upgradable to Android 5.1 Lollipop)
Display: 7-inch (180 mm) IPS LCD with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels
Processor: Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 (1.3 GHz single-core mode)
Memory: 1 GB RAM
Storage: 8 GB, 16 GB, or 32 GB (no expandable storage)
Camera: 1.2 MP front-facing HD (720p) resolution
Connectivity: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC, Micro USB 2.0, and docking pins
Battery: 4325 mAh non-removable lithium-ion polymer battery
Dimensions: 198.5 mm x 120 mm x 10.5 mm, weighing 340 grams

The Nexus 7 was praised for its price, it was well build and at the time the Tegra 3 was powerful. It was marketed as an entertainment device, integrating well with Google Play for e-books, TV shows, movies, games, and music.

Information on the iCade 8 bitty:
The iCade 8-Bitty is a retro-style wireless game controller designed for iOS and Android devices. Here are some key features:
Design: It resembles the classic NES controller with a D-pad, four face buttons, and two shoulder buttons.
Compatibility: Works with iCade-compatible games on iOS and Android devices. However, it doesn’t support all iOS games due to the fluid nature of touch controls.
Connectivity: Uses Bluetooth for wireless connection.
Dimensions: Compact and portable, roughly 4.9 inches wide by 2.1 inches tall by 0.8 inches deep.
Battery: Requires two AAA batteries (not included).
Price: Generally affordable, around $30.

It had some limitations, such as awkward button layouts for certain games and lack of support for PC or Mac
