The Miyoo Mini Plus is a new handheld emulation console that offers a fantastic retro gaming experience. In this video, I take a comprehensive look at the console, including unboxing, initial setup experience and a look at all the consoles it’s compatible with.

The console comes pre-installed with thousands of ROMs, but I recommend setting it up from scratch using your own games for a smoother experience. I show how to copy the contents of everdrives and various backups onto a new SD card, which made a huge difference in my gameplay.

While I did encounter some issues, such as the games menu option not displaying any of the consoles after adding more games and apps disappearing after adding games, these issues can be fixed with custom firmware, which should be coming soon. When it does arrive, I’ll make a follow up video to go in depth on how to set it up and use the new Onion OS firmware.

In the video, I take you through the different systems and how each of them plays, with some systems having different emulator choices. Once the right settings are figured out, this handheld emulation console offers a fantastic retro gaming experience.
