Welcome to the final part of the Tomb Raider retrospective! In this episode, we cover all of Crystal Dynamics’ efforts, starting with Tomb Raider: Legend, going through Anniversary and Underworld, before finally ending where we began…with just plain ol’ Tomb Raider! The new one.
It’s a bit of a bumpy ride this time out, with the character sort of becoming nothing over a few years, the last gasps of the series’ creator, a change in publishers, and tons of controversy to boot – the extra segment THIS time out covers a subject dear to my heart, the events that occured in 2012 that caused people to take a stand against sexism in gaming…something that really hurt the new Tomb Raider game before it even came out, and with good reason. But yep, there’s plenty of stuff here as usual, so you’ll surely find something to either love or hate. Enjoy the vid!
