Checking out my Old 2004 Windows XP Acer Travelmate 292LCi Laptop – It Actually Runs Halo!

My 2004 Laptop I got for work and studies, the resolution and the screen were a big bonus as well as the dedicated graphicscard contained within. I mainly used it for writing papers, doing power point presentations and watching movies on while on shifts. I did play some games on it but those were light games like Bejeweled.
It turns out that it actually is quite a capable gaming Laptop, it even runs Halo! In this video I show some of the Benchmarks that I’ve also shown on my Pentium III machine as well as the emulated PCEm PII machines.

This laptop is designed with WindowsXP in mind, it’s hardware probably won’t work well with Windows98. Not sure if Windows9x drivers actually exist for the hardware of this laptop. If it does, it could be a mean dual boot DOS/Windows/XP machine. But I don’t think the soundcard is MS-DOS fähig.
