Sega Rally 2 (セガラリー2, Sega Rarī Tsū), also known as Sega Rally Championship 2. It was an arcade racing game developed by Sega AM5 for the Model 3 arcade hardware. It is the sequel to 1994’s Sega Rally Championship and was ported to the Dreamcast in 1999, with the US being the last region to receive the game.
The Dreamcast game used the WindowsCE platform which supposedly made porting PC games to Dreamcast easier. It was not a very optimized game on the Dreamcast but the NTSC version is a lot smoother than the PAL version I played back in the day.
Premise of the game:
Driving along the track reaching the checkpoints in time in order to continue to progress is the aim of the game.
