Outrun2 – it’s one of my favourite arcade racers, what can I say… well at least it’s accompanied with a bit of early morning waffelage.
No doubt YouTube will mpeg artifact the living daylights out of this footage with the original footage being crystal clear… oh well…

My 2012 Little Red Dell PC has been upgraded with an i7 3700. It already had a GTX1050 and 16Gb of DDR3 1600Mhz memory. After checking out PS2 emulation I was wondering how it would do with PS3 emulation. It actually does run the game at 100% at the native 720p resolution.

Captured in 1080p60 on the Nvidia built in capture functionality so it might have had a slight impact on performance.

In performance this is quite close to the FX8350, RX560 system I tried PS3 emulation out before. Although IPC on the i7 is better and also 8 thread performance is slightly better on the i7.
