Longplay and review for “Surprise Surprise” on the Amstrad CPC!

Surprise Surprise is often talked about as being the worst ever Amstrad game of all time! If not ‘the worst’ then well – almost certainly in the top 3! Recently I was asked to play it on a Twitch stream as a joke (I assume), but we got intrigued… is it really that bad? Then we figured out that it wasn’t as broken as we first thought and it required some tweaking in emulators to run properly. After that, we were able to explore the game a bit more and got curious just what else lies in store. One live stream turned into another entire stream where we started mapping the game and figuring bits out! This has now led me on this curious journey dear viewer – at last we have a completed map, and a completed game!!

So here we are! And let’s find out if this really is the worst Amstrad game of all time…
