I got an RTX3060Ti for MSRP plus 10 or 20 euros on top. Rarer than hen’s teeth but a welcome upgrade to the GTX1060 that was in my gaming room rig.

This waffle and gameplay was recorded on March 6th 2021. It touches on a fair few subjects and shows of the wonderful game Horizon Zero Dawn – first released on PS4 back in 2017 by Guerilla Games and in the Summer of 2020 it was released for PC. As it was buggy back then I laid low for a while but since the latest patches the game is very playable on PC.

I am finishing more games then ever before, how come?
The pandemic has changed my relationship with gaming but there are other factors I discuss here.

I also thought I got a great deal on what I thought was a 4K 57″ Samsung QLED TV with a fast gaming mode and lots of HDMI inputs to upgrade the TV that was in the gameroom. That TV is and 42″ at 1080p but it had an worsening issue with the light diffuser screen in it that made the TV image spotty and blotchy. So a 57″ replacement would be great. So I found a deal and bought it. Then it arrived and turned out to be a…. 75″ Inch tv. The 57″ I thought I was getting doesn’t even exist, it’s a 55″ model. Even at 75″ the TV had a great price…. but…. well check out the video.
