Let’s Play – Spectron (SD-234T) Spectravideo SV-318/328
Electric Adventures
Working my way through making game plays of as many of the original titles that came out for the Spectravideo SV-318 and SV-328 computers as possible.
This one, Spectron was the very first title I saw running on a Spectravideo SV-318 computer. At the time, a machines version of Space Invaders or aat least a Space Invaders like game was an example of the machines capabilities. Spectron has colourful graphics, loud music and sound effects and more game play mechanics than Space Invaders. I absolutely loved it back in the day, and understandably it was probably my most played game at that stage.
Spectravideo also released the same game on cartridge for the ColecoVision.
