Review and longplay / walkthrough for “Fantasy World Dizzy” on the Amstrad CPC!
Seeing as we’re having egg-based fun Happy Easter! Well ummm… I’m a day or two late with this now actually, due to some recording issues over the weekend (apologies for some of the stutter and jumping in the video).
Anyway, this is third game in the series (sometimes known as “Dizzy III”) and the Oliver Twins had really ‘cracked’ it with this one. The first two were good, but by this one they’d really hit their stride.
Whilst not the greatest game ever, the Dizzy series is extremely important part of the Amstrad’s history, especially given the games were developed and written on the Amstrad first! So this makes it an important game to look at in the run up to the 30th birthday of the CPC 🙂
