Incase anyone’s wondering about this video. Wez, Carl and myself went to the Mario and Sonic at the Olympics (at the David Bekham arena opposite the O2 arena (I still call it the Millennium Dome) in Grenwich London) event back in Christmas 2007 and we recorded a feature there for both Xleague and “that site”, But it was a pain in the arse, the clips didn’t flow, audio was missing and I came down with a nasty flu bug for about three weeks the day after filming this, so it was too late and old news to put up anywhere.
Carl was a stroppy bitch all day there and tried to cold shoulder Matt Cuttle (another British gaming TV presenter – who is a really nice guy IRL) there and looked a complete twat in the process. Wez was so pissed off with him all day, that by the end, when he drove him home, Wez dragged him out the car so quickly that Carl smashed his head on the car door. Still makes me laugh 😀
Needless to say, I cringe when I see myself now, how I used to look.
