After playing a lot of retro games using both emulation and the real hardware over the years, I noticed I play games better on the actual original machine. Emulation is a fantastic thing, so this is NOT a row between what is better overall, but more of a questioning of why I play games better on original hardware. Controllers could be a major part of this, but I think it’s a host of reasons, or maybe just a psychological one.
Do you feel you play better on the real consoles, or are you equal to the task with emulation? Thoughts please.
I also grab some for Amstrad CPC titles, and another addition to the Mega Drive collection.
