In the No Mercy for Miguel trailer, At the beginning, Johnny is just starting to train Miguel and he throws him to the ground. Then he breaks Miguels asthma inhaler. Sounds to me what Johnny’s trying to tell Miguel is that he cant make excuses and needs to fight through pain.
Then in this montague, you can see Miguel mainly fighting with his fists, but Johnny teaches him to unlearn that and to use his legs, so were seeing some real progression in Miguels trailing by this point. And then he makes him swim without his hands.
