I didn’t think I’d be covering adverts again any time soon, but then I sat down, kicked back, opened a can, and came across this…Pepsiman! An odd little Japanese game based around a mascot most people in the West never even saw. Turns out it’s more than worth covering.
For once, we also have a lot of good honourable mentions. Predator 2 is a very solid game for the Mega Drive that could have easily been the featured title! The Punisher is an incredibly violent Max Payne-esque PC shooter that also could have easily been the featured title! There’s also some text-based fun with The Prisoner and Perry Mason! As well as a couple of Popeye games.
We also have quite a long shit room – one that, just for a change, is virtually all about gaming. Predator seems at first like a perfect fit – making video games with the Predator should be easy!…but of course, it wasn’t. Our featured shit game, Predator: Concrete Jungle, tries to put a new spin on the Predator, and it would have worked too…if the execution wasn’t so wretched. Enjoy the video!
