It is possible to install Windows95 on DOSBox 0.74 if you use an Image file for the file system. This video is not a tutorial it is just a proof of concept.

This is what I did. I created a w95.img file in the same directory as DOSBox and I’ve basically kept most settings stock. To make it work with Windows95 I did put the following settings in the DOSBox.conf
file.
