Sega had a massive IP on their hands with Golden Axe. This was a game that had everyone excited to play in the arcades and the home port of the first entry was a system seller on the initial wave of Mega Drive games. Then… Sega got lazy with the sequel. It was playable. The music, for the most part, was good. But it felt kinda weak in comparison. So what did Sega do for the third Golden Axe game… oh boy…
