ARCADE RACING LEGENDS : Sega Dreamcast (Kickstarter and early beta testing)
Old Style Gaming
As the Sega Dreamcast turns 20 years old this year, the legend is still alive. The console was released in late 1999. Worldwide fans show huge respect for this discontinued platform and gamers still enjoy a great games. In 2019 the machine is still a fantastic system to play with.
The guys from PixelHeart have come up with the perfect way to celebrate this systems birthday …by developing a game that we will all love as it will contain many of our favourite vehicles from various games such as Sega Rally, Daytona etc
The game will be called Arcade Racing Legends and will Pay tribute to the classic Arcade vehicles from the mid 80’s to the early 2000. Classic games like OUT RUN, CRAZY TAXI, MSR, LE MANS, SEGA RALLY and many more…
PixelHeart is made up of :
Philippe from JoshProd who supervised the entire production. From concept to development he is the boss…
Jozef the Code Master. he started as a 14 year’s old Computer genius, and spent his career developing for the most prestigious studios. With no platform limitations, we can guarantee you already played some of his games. With his crew they worked extra time to make Arcade Racing Legends perfect.
Michael from Raistling.com is the creative mind behind the artworks. He supervised the entire artistic direction.
Zak from IZWolf Studio is finishing the soundtrack. Roaring instrumentals, Nitro powered beats, and unbeatable melodies. Make sure you preview the first tracks, and play them loud !
Some Time ago Philippe contacted me about beta testing on a Sega Saturn game, since then he has shared a number of Dreamcast, Switch and Saturn games with me. JoshProd has made some great games for the dreamcast, Flashback and Another world have been ported by them to name a few so this kickstarter has a great pedigree and im sure that the game will be everything and more that we expect it to be.
Anyway he sent me this beta last week for the game and I have to say for a really early beta its great, obviously its quite crude as you can see from the shadowing, and lack of drifting but these are things that Philippe says will be addressed as the game is developed. On top of that the music is great and really reminds me of Sega Rally/Crazy Taxi
