I continue my playthrough of the amazing Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection. This time I’m playing Streets of Rage and for one of the first times I’m replaying my Twitch stream of the playthrough featuring my new look stream!
This game truly captured my attention back in the day. I was craving for side scrolling beat ‘em ups (still am) and I was shocked and thrilled at this seemingly surprise hit from Sega at the time. This was released at a time when Nintendo were seemingly getting all the beat ‘em up arcade games and as a Sega fan this seemed to be a true response to Nintendo and their efforts.
Solid game.
