Pentium III: Successfully Capturing All The Audio & Video Scaled At 1080p With Scaler & Elgato HD60S
Lactobacillus Prime
I did it, thanks to a tip from Erwin B. aka Custardo I bought myself a CYP SY-P293 PC to HDMI (1080p) Scaler device that I hooked up as an intermediary between my Pentium III VGA/Audio out and Elgato HD60S HDMI in.
This video shows me turning on the device after having hooked it up. It also shows me trying out some settings and testing what works. It works well! Setting the output to a fixed 1080p is great for OBS and the Elgato HD60 S.
The CUP SY-P293 device supports a ton of different inputs and allows you to natively pass through the signal just like the OSSC does but as it is a true scaler it allows you to scale all incoming resolutions to a fixed output resolution.
Input: 480i/576i (NTSC/PAL)

720p @ 50/60
1080i @50/60
