The Spectrum is home to quite an active demo scene comparable to that of the C64. Here are some of my favourites – one of them has even been programmed in ZX-Spectrum 128k basic (!!!!) and the video is finished off with a little Avanger-gameplay.
All software shown here will run on 48k and/or 128k ZX-Spectrum machines but will play fine on a new ZX-Next as that is very compatible with many of the ZX-Spectrum incarnations. Even ZX80/81 software can be used. There’s also compatibility with the US Timex variants and Russian clones.
Now get a move on with that 2nd Kickstarter for the ZX-Next 😉
