I take a look at LAKKA, the standalone retro gaming emulation software that leverages the Retroarch frontend and uses Libretro cores for emulation.

LAKKA uses the LibreELEC build system (usually used for standalone KODI systems) and is therefore compatible with many ARM based system on a chip media boxes that millions of people have bought in the last few years.

I have re-purposed my Wetek Hub media box and it is capable of replicating ALL the currently available retro mini consoles fantastically well, including Playstation and PC Engine / TurboGrafx 16 / CD systems.
