LEGO has been publishing many wonderful sets. This is one of them. My wife Elise got it for me as compensation for leaving me to fend for myself for a week when she went on a trip. 😘

I believe the designer of this set really managed to capture the essence of the Tallneck and the environment where Aloy starts out in: the Birch trees, Tallgrass to hide in, remnants of the old world in the shape of the husk of a traffic light. The ever present Watchers – it’s possible to change their eye to yellow or red.

It was fun building this in two sessions on a Saturday and a Sunday morning.

The soundtrack used is “Heavy Load” written by Sven Karlsson licensed from Epidemic Sound. It has quite appropriate lyrics.

The LEGO set has been purchased with our own funds. This is not a commercial review or a product placement.
