Tiger Mission might be a loose take on the arcade game ‘Tiger Heli’ –
which only got a home port on the Nintendo / Famicom.

In the game you have to control a helicopter. The goal is easy to explain:
destroy the enemy base. But the gameplay makes it less easy. The helicopter moves very slowly, the opponents move quickly and the enemy bullets are very hard to evade. The reach of your weapon is ludicrous. The game just is too hard if you ask me. You have the option to use a limited amount of smart bombs but by the difficulty level of the game you’ll be out of those on no time. When you die the level is displayed for a fair bit and then the level restarts. No quick respawn.

Conclusion:
The music and graphics are quite good in this game, if only there had been done some more difficulty tweaking. Games used to be tough as nails back in the day – and the game often being the only new game you had access to the incentive to really go at it wanting to succeed was perhaps a lot higher than these days. It feels a lot of content will be lost for most attempting to play this game.
