Are you tired of sub-par emulation performance of many of those cheap android/gaming boxes? You can use Batocera on a whole array of single board computers but also Intel/AMD PCs and MACs.

Using a quiet NUC-like Ryzen APU based PC I managed to get a very decent easy to use well performing unit. It does Gamecube, PS2, Dreamcast, Xbox and below quite beautifully.

Here are some gameplay snippets I tried to record using a Hauppage DVR in stand alone mode – but the files it produces are not liked by Davinci Resolve so I had to cut out a lot of footage. This is what remains. 🙂

NOTE:
The eye candy (the artwork on the right and left side in game) is completely optional. You can have that turned off and run only the game’s output on your screen. For purposes of recording this video having those banners active instantly provides a reference to what system the game is running on.
