Tonight on the Amstream we have yet again another new Amstrad game! We will be checking out…

⭐️ “SIEMB CHRONICLES – ARKOS THE TRAITOR”! ⭐️

Siemb Chronicles is the eagerly awaited sequel to the brilliant “Galactic Tomb”, but this time it’s more of a run ‘n’ gun game! It’s also homaging in its levels the classic “Game Over” released by Dinamic Software back in 1986, picking up the story at the end of that game! Arkos was the hero that has now turned villain – and it’s up to you to return to that planet and now rid it of the traitorous Arkos! A fantastic and skilled team is behind this game, and I can’t wait to check it out given just how good Galactic Tomb was!

⚽️ “CPC SOCCER v22” ⚽️

Last year the Amstrad received it’s finest footy game in CPC Soccer! Now, VoxelTower has decided to revisit the game making many improvements such as graphics now in Mode 0 with more colours, swerve on shots, being able to direct fouls, corners and penalties more accurately, weather and new pitches and many other things! VoxelTower has very kindly provided us with a pre-release version to test and check out live on the Amstream!

⭐️ Speccy Ports! ⭐️

In a change of plans for tonight and in honour of the very sad passing of Sir Clive Sinclair yesterday, as our own little tribute we’re going to look for some ‘Speccy ports’ (ie games that were quickly ported over to the Amstrad from the ZX Spectrum) that were actually good! I’ll be looking to you in the chat to provide some examples to check out!
