Longplay and review for “Super Mario Land” on the Nintendo Gameboy!

This 1 life / no death run was recorded for the Tubers High Score Challenge (a fortnightly gaming competition between various YouTubers and streamers), I did better than I expected so I thought I’d turn it into a proper video for the channel with intro and review commentary!

My 2nd favourite retro system of all time after my beloved Amstrad was my Nintendo Gameboy! And this is actually the first Gameboy video I’ve done on my channel, so I hope you enjoy it! Super Mario Land was the first game I played after Tetris, and I have very fond memories of it. So it’s nice to return back to it after all these years. But how much will I remember and how well will I do after 30 years?! Let’s find out…

(*NOTE* After re-watching I discovered I missed the second f’ing pipe on 4-2 which would have given me an extra 20k on the score! Oh well. I was nervous by that point!)
