Nemesis / Gradius Comparison In Order Of Greatness (21 Systems)

Hey whatsup guys OSG here with another Comparison video and this one is a Patreon request from Lucas Rainford. Lucas is my longest serving Patreon and over the last 3 years has also become one of my best mates so doing this has been an absolute pleasure. One stipulation of his request is that he could provide the footage for the Arcade and PSP versions so what you see is all him on there.

Being me I like to get things right so I did a lot of research into versions of this game and I came up with 23 versions….that’s about 10 more than anyone else has on YouTube. I haven’t included the PS4 version or the switch as I have no way to capture the footage and as this is a comparison in order of greatness I need to be able to play the game to rate it so they are out.

Also out are the Colecovision version and the fan made Sega MasterSystem version but not through lack of trying. I have tried to get those roms everywhere and in the end even tracked down the developer/publishers but so far haven’t heard anything back so they aren’t in either.

That leaves us 21 versions all together and I have to say straight from the off that this game is really good on all systems. Obviously graphical and sound wise there are significant differences but gameplay wise they all have that classic Nemesis feeling.
