In episode number two we’re taking on a the classic birthday cake which your mum sends you on Animal Crossing!. Let’s see if it tastes as good as it looks!
Recipe:
250g unsalted butter
250g caster sugar
250g self raising flour
4 eggs
3 tbsp milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
strawberry jam
600g icing sugar
300g unsalted butter
(Jo thought the buttercream was perhaps too sweet so using salted butter instead might be a good idea!)
