Just a quick one – a racing game I quite like despite its flaws.
This Sega Rally game was NOT released in the West. It came after the amazing Sega Rally 2 on the Dreamcast but had many of the features present in the Dreamcast game removed.
– Sound is stereo instead of the Dreamcast’s 3Ch Surround
– Quite severe texture/polygon popup instead of the Dreamcast’s ‘fog’
– No multiplayer battles
Still I reckon the West did miss out not being able to play this game. It’s definitely a fast arcade racer worthy of the Sega badge.
