Azimuth 2000 AKA Azimuth Head Alignment Tape

Since the position of the cassette player head is vital to read correctly the code on magnetic tape, Interceptor Software released a software utility in 1985 which allows the user to optimize the datacorder head of the Amstrad CPC464. Here I demonstrate how it’s done, for the first time on an old original board CPC. This version comes with Chopper Squad as the test game, but an alternative version, known as “Azimuth Head Alignment Tape” instead of Azimuth 2000, comes with Joe Blade as the test game.
