We recently visited Western Canada with a short trip into the USA and saw lots of great wildlife. Here are the highlights.
Apologies for the shakycam – some of these creatures were quite far away and it’s hard to keep the camera steady when it’s at 12x zoom, especially if you’re sat on a glorified dinghy!
Animals featured are:
– Mule Deer
– Chipmunks
– Black Bear (including some brown ones!)
– Garter snake (and its dinner!)
– Columbian Ground Squirrel
– A cool as-yet unidentified fluffy caterpillar
– Some regular kind of Squirrel 🙂
– Orca (plus some seals they were hunting!)
– Humpback Whale
– Steller Sea Lion
– Sockeye Salmon
