[AMSTRAD CPC] New York Warriors – Longplay & Review
Xyphoe
Longplay and review for “NEW YORK WARRIORS” (aka “NY WARRIORS” / “DELTA COMMAND”) on the Amstrad CPC!
Allright guys! New York Warriors, a top down run ‘n’ gun game in the style of Ikari Warriors has some really impressive presentation quite unlike any other Amstrad conversion. Fred the programmer, who I’ve actually been talking to about his game, has gone all out here on his very first CPC game before he moved onto the Dizzy series! NY Warriors also has quite an interesting history and a lot of research and work has been put into this longplay & review in many ways as you will find out when you watch!
Now whilst Fred admits he’s not especially proud of this game, me on the other hand really quite likes this a lot! It certainly helps being a big fan of the movies “The Warriors” and “Escape From New York” that this game is heavily influenced by! But…. can we overcome a serious problem in the game half way through? Let’s all find out…
