On the stream we’re going to play them in a different order, with the biggest and most famous being first, with the obscure and tenuous being the last games we look at.

Hopefully I haven’t missed any. And some games didn’t make the grade of being a real ‘beat ’em up’ – those excluded include fantasy themed sword fighting or hack ‘n’ slash games (so no Golden Axe, Great Gurianos, Usagi Yojimbo, Ninja Warriors, Shinobi, Skull N Crossbones, Corsarios, Artura etc), or mixed genre ones like Nightbreed that has a strong beat ’em up element to it but it’s really a maze adventurer with some puzzling and platforming.
