My Top 10 Megaman Robot Masters and Stages! (One From Each Game In The Classic Series!)
RetroBreak
I really enjoyed making this video! From playing every Megaman game again to finding all those awesome Snake Man Covers! 😀 Hope you all enjoy watching it too! Let me know some of your favourite Robot masters and stages from the classic Mega Man series in the comments below!
1 – From Megaman 1, we have.. Guts Man! one of the most famous robot masters, featuring an Iconic Design and one of the most Challenging stages in the 8-bit series, with this infuriating platforming section which featured in the amazing song, no sleep until clear.
Gut’s man has re-appeared in many, many entries in the series… including… (deep breath)…
Megaman 2
Megaman 3
Megaman 7
Megaman 8
Rockboard
Megaman Power Battle
Megaman 2 Power Fighters
Megaman Battle and Chase
Super Rockman Adventure
Chokkan Rockman
Rockman xOver
Rockman Strategy
Megaman and Bass
Rockman the Puzzle Battle
Megaman Legends 2
Capcom Quiz Hatena no Daiboken.
His fight is fun and it’s good to see a robot master that seems like it would have an actual purpose in the real world!
2 – Air Man
From Meagan 2, we have Air Man! I always really enjoyed airmans stage, it’s very memorable from the giant head platforms, to the small floating platforms going between the clouds, there’s a lot to like here! and just like Gut’s Man before him, he also spawned another amazing song, this time it’s Can’t Defeat Airman!
I used to be obsessed with that song! The fight it’s self is one of, if not the most challenging in Megaman 2, if you don’t use his weakness anyway…
3 – Snake Man
My favourite Robot Master from Megaman 3 is… Snake Man! Amazing music and lots of cool remixes on youtube!
4 – Skull Man
The first robot master I ever saw! A great childhood memory and my favourite of the entire series!
5 – Gravity Man
Half way through now, and one of the most interesting robots and stages This is Gravity Man! This one was an easy pick for me because I love levels that do something a bit different and as you can see, changing gravity made for a pretty interesting stage! Even if it is a bit on the easy side! The boss fight is fun too, even though its definitely one of the easiest in the whole series…. Why he only fires one bullet I have no idea!
6 – Wind Man
I have a confession to make, I only played Megaman 6 for the first time about 2 years ago! It never officially came out in the UK so I kind of missed this one entirely and don’t really have any attachment to any of the robots… Playing through it for this video though I have to say I really enjoyed Wind Man’s stage and fight… Maybe just because I love airman but even on it’s own it’s a fun and challenging stage, I like the gusts of wind that push you into the air, makes it feel a bit more interesting.. The fight it’s self is a lot easier than Airman though!
7 – Burst Man
My favourite Robot Master from the first 16-Bit game in the series is… Spring Man!
I know… not the most exciting Robot or design…. Bu hear me out! I think the idea of having robots which are basically just children toys makes for an interesting idea, kind of like Toy Story gone evil! The level is really fun, and a lot more forgiving than Bounce Man’s similar stage in Megaman 11!
8 – Tengu Man
The first time I played Megaman 8 and saw Tenguman’s stage I was blown away! So many sprites on the screen at once! And then it gets even better… combining my favourite game series, with my second favourite game genre, a Megaman shoot em up! I was so excited and it’s still one of the best moment in the series for me!
9 – Splash Women (First level to memorise for no hit trophy, plus first female robot master!)
I love everything about Megaman 9 so this was a tough choice, but I decided to go for Splash Woman. The only female robot master in the entire series! The stage makes a really cool throwback to Wave Man’s stage in Megaman 5, and it was also the first stage that I managed to play through entirely without getting hit… Something I eventually had to do on all stages to get the achievement
10 – Solar Man
And finally for Megaman 10, I’ve chosen the awesome Solar Man!
A Robot made to create artificial suns… what could possibly go wrong??
