Back in the early 90’s when Roller Blading was still cool, Internet wasn’t a thing for most people and mobile phones where only for the elite we had loads of video game magazines doing the rounds. UK had C+VG, Mean Machines and the US had EGM and Gamepro. But no one on the internet EVER talks about the Australian gaming magazines in the era. I happened to work for two of these magazines! Hyper magazine was one of them but before that I got to work in Megazone magazine.
Here’s a breakdown of issue 19 as I take you through issue by issue the gaming magazines that helped inspire a generation of Aussie gamers! Enjoy!
