Part one (hopefully of just two parts) of a few different repairs to an NEC PC Engine Duo. The CD-ROM drive was behaving very strangely, and I discovered some horrors inside, plus there’s a gear problem, sound problems and an issue with the replacement carriage making a squeeling noise.
