One of the most popular games Sega has ever produced is Golden Axe. Yet it’s been shoved in the forgotten regions of Sega’s production focus since 1995. Here I play through Golden Axe on the Mega Drive. So many memories attached to this game. Seeing it in a take-away store in the late 80’s for the first time showed that Sega were truly in control of the arcade experience at this time. It felt/ played/ controlled just beautifully! It made you wanna yell at your other player as you fought over who gets the magic jars or food.
