The Witness is a first person perspective puzzle game developed by Thekla. It was released for Windows, Playstation 4, XboxOne and will be appearing on iOS devices too.
You explore an island filled with buildings and structures that you interact with by solving puzzles. Much like happens in the game Myst. You need to determine the rules of the puzzles by the visual clues and audio recordings that are to be found around the island.
The game was praised by many reviewers on the graphics, the difficult but solvable puzzles and setting.
