Emulating Sony PlayStation 1 And PSP At 1080p – The Good, Bad And Ugly ✅
Lactobacillus Prime
This video focuses on the original Playstation and the PSP. How do these look upscaled to 1080p?
Emulation persé is not illegal, it’s a technique used to reverse engineer or re-implement functionality of software or a system on another system that is not compatible with said software or system by default. It provides a way to preserve access to systems and software after the hardware has failed. It can also serve to ‘enhance’ the original experience of the games played.
ePSXe, PCSXReloaded and PPSSPP are pieces of software that can be used to do the latter. Imagine being able to play your Playstation 1 or PSP games at 1080p or even higher? Well you can stop imagining it, as it is a reality. Provided your computer has enough oomph to run things full speed. Luckily mine is so let’s take a look at the differences between the standard resolution and the upscaled resolutions on the Playstation 1 and PSP games.
