Installing A Cryorig C1 Top Down Cooler – Stopped My PC Sounding Like A Hoover II
Lactobacillus Prime
Cryorig C1 CPU cooler & fan for both Intel & AMD platforms. Obtained 3 with my own funds, this video is NOT sponsored or paid for in any way. My opinion is my own.
9 sockets are supported – materials for both sockets come with the unit:
Intel (LGA): 2011/v3, 1366, 1150, 1155, 1156, 775
AMD Socket: FM1/2, AM2/+, AM3/+
It took me between 50 to 55 minutes to remove the old fan, disconnect the motherboard, put the new fan on, put the motherboard back in the case and hook it up. As I got a couple of requests actually showing me building it I decided to take you along. I am not promising this is a comprehensive tutorial style video. This is just me installing the bloody thing.
I recommend this; installation is an easy multi step process that basically is hard to get wrong. It’s a big cooler fashioned in such a way that it overhangs the ram slots and fits in even very tight ITX/Micro ATX systems next to regular ATX systems.
A winner! My CPU barely gets hot!
