Dead Island Definitive Edition – It’s Dead Island, being given a dusting, a quick polish and a general bit of TLC.
The question is, can you tell?
Personally, not having played both side by side (Which we will do at some point in the coming hours), but in all honesty, not that much. Maybe our memory of the original Dead Island is shady, possibly loving it too much, but we can see no overwhelming differences.
Having been offered the game on Steam for only £1.85 as a discount for already owning the original Dead Island, we couldn’t say no.
Yes, the lighting looks impressive, we will give it that.
