[PLAY EXPO Blackpool 2016] Henrique Olifiers : The Love of the ZX Spectrum

From Play Expo in Blackpool, filmed on Saturday 30th of April 2016 at 12pm from the Norbreck Castle, Blackpool.

Interviewed by Matt Andrews

Henrique Olifiers is the co-founder of Bossa Studios, the makers of Surgeon Simulator, I Am Bread and Worlds Adrift. He’s also a retro gamer whose first game was coded on a ZX Spectrum clone back in the eighties, thus becoming a life-long fan of the Speccy, its demoscene, games and hardware.

Henrique joined us on Saturday 30th April to talk about how the Spectrum, with its iconic design, low cost and simplicity, became an unstoppable force of such magnitude that, to this day, sees great games and apps being released on a constant basis. The session will delve a bit into the Russian scene that has been keeping at the forefront of the ZX Spectrum development, and also on the enthusiasts world-wide who keep on releasing new hardware for this amazing machine.
