I was over at Wouter’s place the other day and encountered Juno First on one of the two arcade cabs he has in his gameroom. I made a couple of Beamrider videos in the past and wondered why there wasn’t an arcade original for Beamrider and several people pointed out the Juno First, this arcade game, actually comes quite close.
This is a mix of BreamRider, Defender, Galaga, Gyruss combined and I love it. Ports for MSX, C64 exist, as well as a recent 2600 homebrew port that supposedly is very good.
