The latest and greatest – do you got to have it right now? Can you wait? What if all your friends get something? Please understand there’s nothing wrong with buying into hype and giving into peer pressure.
Here’s my thoughts which are valid for my own personal situation.
I don’t get affected to much, I see the hype going on but I guess I’ve been disappointed too much by overhyped games that I have adopted to a strategy of keeping it very close to my own pace of discovery. I don’t need to play the latest and greatest always, but do sometimes when I am very interested in something.
