Today is Iron Maiden day! I’m a big fan and their new double album “The Book Of Souls” is released today (4/9/15) and I couldn’t resist taking a look at their retro / Donkey Kong inspired new computer game!
A couple of weeks ago they premiered their new single and video for the song “Speed Of Light” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-F7A24f6gNc), the video which is well worth watching for any gaming fans sees their famous mascot “Eddie” (as featured on all their album covers) travelling through time and space with each area a nod to games of the past like Donkey Kong, Midnight Resistance, Mortal Kombat and more! A week ago they commissioned a game based on one of those areas in the video, the Donkey Kong inspired area!
So here’s my playthrough and review, and great fun it is too!
