With all this talk about backwards compatibility and the fact that it is mostly missing for Playstation 2 on the Playstation 3 and definitely on the Playstation 4 I decided to check it out on the PC. There’s an emulator out there that allows you to run PS2 games straight off the disc on your regular PC, provided it is fast enough.
Here’s a showcase of some games running on my PC with version 1.3.1 Build 2015042719 of the Playstation 2 emulator called PCSX2. In the video is also a summary of the PC hardware I am running this on.
