The Amstrad GX4000 will be 25 years old in September of this year (2015), so to celebrate here are the 25 games available for the system in (roughly!) 25 minutes!! 1 minute per game gameplay and review!!

Anyway, hope you enjoy this crazy video! Sounded like such a good idea at the time but turned out to be a mini nightmare! Carts wouldn’t load, the camera kept stopping, the phone timer kept falling over, realising I missed a game, lighting was wrong, etc etc! And yes – my video camera *sucks* and I’ll be buying a newer and better one when I can!!

As for some of the carts struggling to load – this is to do with the GX4000 console itself. I own two of them, and the one I used I realised was the one I had left out on the shelf (for display) and hadn’t been used in years. So it had collected a lot of dust, etc. Cleaned it out now 95% of the games that struggled now boot every time. 🙂

Lastly, in September I’ll be doing a longer and bigger video celebrating 25 years of the GX4000, this is just a short fun thing…
