A-Z Of My MSX Collection – Knightmare

This is the 11th video in my series on the 26 games (A-Z) in my MSX collection that are my favourite or most nostalgic.

I am going to do a video on each one, talking about the game and then doing a short game play.

Each game play will be a one-up game play i.e. little or no practice before the video and I will see how far I can get.

So for the 11th video and of course game starting with the letter ‘K’ I had a choice between quite a lot of games I have enjoyed over the years. In this video I show the six finalists, and due to the number of quality games a short video from the 2nd and 3rd placed games.

So the game ended up being Knightmare by Konami which is a game that holds a lot of nostalgia for me from back in the early days of owning a MSX machine and working in a store that sold them. Being a cartridge game it was always out of my reach, so I only got to play it when we had it in store (which was never for long), so I was very happy to 1st add a loose cartridge, then upgraded to a boxed version in recent times. This game would easily sit in any top 10 of MSX games for me.
