Opened to the public on Saturday 28th March is the UK’s first video game experience and museum! The “National Videogame Arcade” in Nottingham is – “the world’s first permanent centre to celebrate and explore videogame culture, in the heart of Nottingham City’s Creative Quarter.”

Featuring arcade games, exhibitions, interactive displays and games, museum pieces, cinema, cafe, bar, and special evening events.. it’s truly remarkable this exists!

Whilst it’s still early days, a little expensive and I hope a lot more gets added to it (especially far more arcade machines – it’s more of a museum and exhibition than an ‘Arcade’) it’s certainly been good fun and very promising. Definitely worth at least a visit!

(Oh, and as I said in the video – first time using the GoPro and not used to it! Apologies if you can’t make anything out, a little shaky at time, etc – also wasn’t sure if I would be allowed to film or not so was trying to hide it away as best I can!!)
